This collection contains new sculptures carved in marble salvaged from the remodeling of the Australian Embassy, exploring the quiet moment before flight.

Geoff Desobry explores a primal sense of night through a series of pastel drawings. Much like jazz improvisation, he starts in the key of ultramarine blue and explores the excitement, vastness, and solitude of the city at night. He pays homage to a timeless transformation of our senses and psyches within a labyrinthine kasbah of blue and purple, as he takes us on a journey from dusk to dawn.

Urban Blues consists of pastel works on paper by Geoff Desobry completed in 2019 and early 2020. The city at night was the initial theme, the pieces expanded to embrace all that blue is for Geoff.
